Karine de Marez Oyens - lawyer

Karine de Marez Oyens (1976) graduated from the University of Leiden in 2000 after which she was sworn in as a lawyer in Rotterdam. Before moving to Hong Kong in 2004, she worked for De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, one of the largest and well known law firms in the Netherlands, where she gained experience in general litigation and employee and employee benefits. Having moved to Hong Kong Karine worked on projects for ABN AMRO Asset Management. Subsequently she joined Turner Broadcasting Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of Time Warner, as Senior Legal Manager. Karine joined De Nerée Advocates in 2007 and is registered as a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the Law Society of Hong Kong.

Karine has extensive experience in the following practice areas: contract law, employment law and corporate law. During her time at ABN AMRO and Turner Broadcasting, she gained valuable international experience. Karine advises clients on these practice areas, as well as on business formation and structuring in China and Hong Kong.

Karine is the manager of De Nerée Corporate Services.
